J&Y Nail Studio has been lauded at this year's Singapore Entrepreneurs' Award 2013/2014 held at the Chui Hay Lim Club on 12 December 2013. This award honors companies that have strived to cultivate a culture of honesty, fairness and corporate social responsibility as well as to promote entrepreneurship development across Asia.

ONS SEA AWARDS and GALA Night 6 Dec

The ONS S.E.A Awards and Gala Ball "RED CARPET' was held at Thistle Hotel, Johor Bahru on Friday 6 Dec. The night was an absolute blast and all the fab folks kept the fun going till late night. We'd like to thank all amazing guests and organizers for making it such a memorable, fun night. Everybody looked swish and suave sashaying across the ballroom floor in suits and dresses!

Besides the numerous awards given out during the presentation, each and everyone walked away with great Christmas gifts at the end of the night, including one lucky guest who won the grand lucky draw price - an IPAD MINI RETINA!

Many thanks to all again who attended the fabulous evening, we hope you had as much fun as we did and we look forward to see you all at next years ball!

ONS International Exam 6 Dec 2013

On 6 December 2013, 48 Odyssey Nail Students presented themselves at the ballroom of Thistle hotel, Johor Bahru for their ONS International Exam. To some its a stressful experience, to others its finally a chance to showcase what they have learnt for the past few months.

Despite the grueling hours, all students were well-organised and can be seen doing their best to avoid pitfalls. Staying focused in exams is never easy, but everyone did just fine! Keep up the good work and we are proud of you all from J&Y Nail Studio :)

MBC Elite Team Training Seoul Korea

J&Y Nail Studio Educator Jess Puan is proud to be the FIRST EVER Singapore Nail Educator to conduct training on MBC Elite Nail Team in Seoul Korea. MBC Academy Beauty School teaches Makeup, Nail Art, Aesthetics and Hair Styling which are connected with Korean Munhwa Broadcasting Corporation. Despite the slight language barrier but with the help of a translator, it was rewarding to see the students' final artwork after 3 days of vigorous training!

Teaching and passing one's knowledge to others is one of the most rewarding and selfless actions WE as educators can do. Training might be tough as times, but at the end of the day it is the recognition from our students that will get us through!

Crystal Ball Workshop 23 Oct

J&Y Nail Studio hosted another joint workshop @ Johor together with ONS Advance educators Stephy Pang and Sheila Tan. Students from Singapore and Malaysia attended the 6 hours workshop where we went over our creative processes and tips on creating the Garfield snow globe. Fine Art Pen Success 24 Sept

We have just completed another successful workshop on the fine art pen. How do we know it was a success? Because our attendees told us without us asking! Many the students took time to share with us their thoughts on the quality of the materials and training. We are grateful for their positive feedback and amazed that such a diverse group (near 100) could be served by our teaching.

Our success in teaching has led us to add more workshops in the coming future. We are pleased to announce that we will be conducting the Crystal Ball Workshop on October 23, 2013 and Folk Art Gel on 10 Dec, 2013 (details to be posted soon). We are always looking forward to meeting those who wish to extend their understanding and learn new skills in the nail industry. Register early to avoid disappointment!
